Thor Kitchen Refrigerator Repair in Maryland

First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Thor Kitchen Refrigerator Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Thor Kitchen service center, and not authorized by Thor Kitchen. If your refrigerator is still inside the Thor Kitchen warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Refrigerator Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Thor Kitchen builds its refrigerators
Thor sells French-door, built-in and panel-ready refrigerators that look the part of a pro-style kitchen, but inside they are ordinary frost-free designs. An evaporator coil behind the freezer panel makes the cold, a fan pushes it to the fresh-food side, and a defrost heater clears frost on a schedule. The most common complaint is a warm fresh-food section: the defrost heater or its sensor has failed, the coil is packed with ice, and air no longer reaches the top. An evaporator fan that has stopped does the same. Ice makers can stop filling or harvesting. Panel-ready doors carry extra weight, and the hinges can sag until the door no longer seals, which lets humid summer air in and adds frost. Water on the floor usually means a clogged defrost drain.
Parts that tend to fail on Thor Kitchen refrigerators
- Fresh-food side warm after defrost failure
- Evaporator fan not turning
- Ice maker quit making ice
- Panel door sagging out of line
- Defrost drain clogged, water leaking

Thor Kitchen Refrigerator Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Usually the defrost system has failed and ice has blocked the coil, or the fan that moves cold air has stopped. We test the defrost heater, its sensor and the fan, and clear the ice so air reaches the fresh-food side again.
Usually. The hinge can often be adjusted to bring the door back into line. If the hinge is bent or worn, we replace it, then check that the gasket seals along the full edge.
