Thermador refrigerator repair
Thermador Refrigerator Repair in Maryland
We repair Thermador refrigerators at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Freedom built-in columns plus integrated bottom-freezer and French-door models. Common work: ice makers, evaporator fans, defrost faults, dusty condensers and heavy panel doors that drift out of adjustment.
Booking online works too. With the Thermador refrigerator's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Thermador Refrigerator Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Thermador service center, and not authorized by Thermador. If your refrigerator is still inside the Thermador warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Refrigerator Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Thermador builds its refrigerators
Nearly every Thermador refrigerator we work on is a built-in. The Freedom columns come as separate refrigerator and freezer towers, fully integrated behind cabinet panels, while the wider models combine both in one cabinet with a bottom freezer or French doors. On these units the compressor and condenser live behind a grille, and heat has to leave through that grille or the system runs long and warm. Dust on the condenser is one of the most common reasons a built-in slowly loses its cold. Custom panels add weight to each door, so hinges and door closers wear, and a door that stops sealing lets in humid air that shows up as frost inside and sweating on the trim. We check the condenser, the fans and defrost before we consider the sealed system or the control board.
Parts that tend to fail on Thermador refrigerators
- Condenser behind the grille packed with dust
- Evaporator fan motor stalled
- Panel-ready door no longer sealing
- Ice maker not getting water
- Defrost heater or sensor failed

Thermador Refrigerator Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
The display reports what the control thinks, based on its sensor. If a fan has stopped or frost has blocked the coil, the sensor area can read cool while shelves warm up. We measure actual temperatures in several places and check airflow before trusting the display.
The manual shows how to remove the grille for your model. With the power off, a soft brush and vacuum clear the dust from the condenser fins. If the fins are matted or you can't reach them, we clean them during a visit and check that the condenser fan is running.
