Samsung refrigerator repair
Samsung Refrigerator Repair in Maryland
We repair Samsung refrigerators at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. French-door, four-door Flex, side-by-side and bottom-freezer refrigerators, many on the Twin Cooling Plus system. Visits usually involve a frosted ice compartment, an iced-up fan, a defrost fault or a leaking water valve.
Booking online works too. With the Samsung refrigerator's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Samsung Refrigerator Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Samsung service center, and not authorized by Samsung. If your refrigerator is still inside the Samsung warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Refrigerator Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Samsung builds its refrigerators
A Samsung refrigerator call is usually a story about frost in the wrong place. On French-door models the ice maker sits in a sealed box on the left door, chilled by freezer air piped up through a duct. If humid kitchen air reaches that box through a worn gasket, a cracked duct seal or a door that doesn't close flush, frost grows until the ice maker jams and meltwater drips onto the floor. Twin Cooling Plus units add a separate evaporator for the fresh-food side, and ice on its fan blades produces a rattle or a buzz that comes and goes. Under many of these symptoms sits a defrost fault: a heater, sensor or drain that can't clear the coil. Chipping ice away buys a week or two. Finding the moisture path and the defrost failure is the repair.
Parts that tend to fail on Samsung refrigerators
- Frost packing the door ice compartment
- Fresh-food fan blades catching ice
- Defrost sensor or heater not clearing the coil
- Water inlet valve dripping or stuck shut
- Meltwater collecting under the crispers

Samsung Refrigerator Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
The ice was a symptom. Moist air is getting into the ice compartment, or the defrost and drain system isn't removing frost as designed. We look at the compartment gasket, the air duct and the door alignment, test the defrost parts, and then check the ice maker itself.
Usually not. On many Samsung models that sound is a fan blade striking ice that has formed around the fresh-food evaporator. The compressor sits at the bottom rear and sounds different. Clearing the ice without fixing the defrost fault means the noise will return.
