Thermador stove repair
Thermador Stove Repair in Maryland
We repair Thermador stoves at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. The Thermador range as a daily cook sees it: a burner that won't light, a flame with a gap, clicking that won't stop, or an oven that no longer matches its setting.
Booking online works too. With the Thermador stove's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Thermador Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Thermador service center, and not authorized by Thermador. If your stove is still inside the Thermador warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Thermador builds its stoves
Most of what goes wrong with a Thermador stove in daily use is minor. The Star burner's five points each need clear ports, and a cap set down slightly crooked after cleaning leaves part of the flame weak. A heavy pot landing on the burner can crack its ceramic igniter. Knob-mounted spark switches short out when a boil-over runs into them, which is why every igniter keeps clicking. ExtraLow burners relight on purpose during simmer. The oven below, gas or electric, can read off as its sensor or igniter ages, and self-clean cycles eventually wear out door locks. Before pricing anything, we clean and seat every burner, light each one from high to low, and put our own thermometer in the oven.
Parts that tend to fail on Thermador stoves
- Star burner point clogged
- Igniter cracked by a dropped pot
- Spark switch wet after a boil-over
- Oven running off its setting
- Door lock worn from self-clean
Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our stove repair overview.

Thermador Stove Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Yes, on most models all the igniters spark together when any burner is lit, since they share a spark module. It's a problem only if the clicking continues after the flame is lit or with every knob off, which usually means one spark switch is wet or failing.
Many Thermador ovens allow a temperature offset through the settings menu. We first let the oven heat and cycle with our own thermometer inside. If the difference is small, an offset fixes it; if it's large or erratic, we test the sensor and heating parts.
