DCS stove repair
DCS Stove Repair in Maryland
We repair DCS stoves at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. When a DCS owner says stove, they nearly always mean the freestanding pro range. Ignition that clicks without catching, a slow oven and a leaking door seal are what we hear about.
Booking online works too. With the DCS stove's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
DCS Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a DCS service center, and not authorized by DCS. If your stove is still inside the DCS warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How DCS builds its stoves
For DCS, calling it a stove nearly always means the freestanding pro-style range, and the most useful first question is what still works. Burners fine but oven cold tells us gas and electricity are both getting to the range, which narrows things to the oven's ignition, its safety valve and the control asking for heat. Nothing lighting anywhere sends us behind the range instead: is the outlet or breaker for the spark system live, and is the gas shutoff open? Heavy grates and a stainless shell conceal most of the working parts. Pulling a 36- or 48-inch unit forward is a two-person job that needs care with the flexible gas connector, and island installs may need trim or a backguard removed first.
Parts that tend to fail on DCS stoves
- Oven dead while the burners work
- Burners clicking without catching
- Oven overshooting or undershooting
- Oven door gasket scorched
- Knob switch damaged by spills
Checks you can safely make before booking are on the stove repair page for all brands.

DCS Stove Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Check that the range has power (the spark system needs it) by looking at the breaker or outlet, and that the gas shutoff behind it is open. If both are fine and nothing lights, the problem is upstream of the burners, often the power supply or a gas supply issue, and we test from there.
Sometimes. Anything at the burners, including igniters, can be reached from above, and a good share of the oven parts come out through the oven itself. Anything involving a valve, the wiring harness or the gas connection may need the range pulled forward, and when it goes back, the gas joint is leak-checked.
