Hotpoint stove repair
Hotpoint Stove Repair in Maryland
We repair Hotpoint stoves at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Freestanding coil-electric and gas stoves with knobs. Most visits involve a dead coil, a burned receptacle, a burner switch, an oven igniter or a bake element.
Booking online works too. With the Hotpoint stove's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Hotpoint Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Hotpoint service center, and not authorized by Hotpoint. If your stove is still inside the Hotpoint warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
What's inside a Hotpoint stove
The Hotpoint stove is the basic freestanding range you find in many rentals and older kitchens, coil electric or gas, with knobs. Coil elements burn out. An infinite switch can stick on high or stop working. On electric models the bake element fails, and on gas models the oven igniter weakens. A surface burner's igniter can keep clicking when a spark switch gets wet. These are simple parts, and repairs are usually inexpensive.
Parts that tend to fail on Hotpoint stoves
- Coil element dead
- Infinite switch stuck on high
- Bake element failed
- Gas oven igniter weak
- Surface igniter clicking nonstop

Hotpoint Stove Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
That knob's switch has most likely worn out. It's a common and inexpensive part. We confirm it with a test and replace it.
Moisture has probably reached a spark switch. Remove the knobs and let the area dry for several hours. If it still clicks, the switch needs to be replaced.
