JennAir stove repair
JennAir Stove Repair in Maryland
We repair JennAir stoves at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Most JennAir stoves we see are freestanding or slide-in ranges, and some are older downdraft models. Igniters, elements, oven probes and downdraft blowers come up most.
Booking online works too. With the JennAir stove's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
JennAir Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a JennAir service center, and not authorized by JennAir. If your stove is still inside the JennAir warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How JennAir builds its stoves
In most kitchens a JennAir stove means a range, freestanding or slide-in, and in houses that haven't been remodeled in a while it may still be one of the downdraft ranges the brand became known for. On those, the vent is built into the cooktop, the blower sits in the range base, and the exhaust duct runs down into the floor. That makes moving the range more involved than usual, since the duct has to be separated and resealed along with the gas line or power cord. Oven complaints split by fuel: gas ovens wear out igniters, electric ovens burn out elements, and both can suffer from a bad sensor or control. Every time we slide one out, we reconnect the duct, leak-test any gas fitting and make sure the anti-tip bracket is engaged.
Parts that tend to fail on JennAir stoves
- Oven igniter weak
- Bake element burned out
- Downdraft blower motor failing
- Oven sensor fault
- Surface igniter clicking without lighting

JennAir Stove Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Grease has built up in the filter, blower or duct and is running back. Clean or replace the filter and wipe the vent housing. If it continues, the blower and duct likely need cleaning, and we check them.
Yes. The downdraft has its own blower motor and switch, and nothing in the oven circuit powers it. A dead motor, a failed switch or a loose connection is the usual cause, and we test each.
