Miele Stove Repair in Maryland

We repair Miele stoves at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. The Miele range used as an everyday stove: burners that click or won't stay lit, a sluggish preheat, an oven that runs hot or cool against its setting.

Miele Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Miele service center, and not authorized by Miele. If your stove is still inside the Miele warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Stove Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Miele builds its stoves

Owners of a Miele range usually just call it the stove, and everyday problems tend to be small ones. On gas models each burner has a flame-failure sensor that must stay hot to keep the gas flowing. A burner that catches and then goes out the moment the knob is released almost always has that sensor coated in grime or knocked out of the flame, not a bad valve. Caps nudged off-center during cleaning cause lopsided flames or failed lighting. A boil-over that soaks the igniters makes them click without catching until they dry out. Below, the oven can wander away from the temperature you set once its sensor gets old. Each burner is cleaned, seated and lit at several knob positions, and the oven is checked against a separate thermometer, before any parts are recommended.

Parts that tend to fail on Miele stoves

  • Flame-failure sensor dirty or bent
  • Igniter clicking without lighting
  • Burner cap off-center
  • Oven running off its setting
  • Oven door hinge binding

FAQ

Miele Stove Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

The flame-failure sensor has to warm up before it holds the gas open, and a dirty, misaligned or worn-out sensor can't. Try keeping the knob pressed in for a slow count of ten after it lights. When that doesn't solve it, the sensor needs cleaning or replacing.

Wet igniters and switches click until they dry, which can take a few hours. Leave the burners off in the meantime. Clicking that carries on once everything is dry points to a spark switch or the spark module, which we can test.
