Frigidaire Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Frigidaire service center, and not authorized by Frigidaire. If your stove is still inside the Frigidaire warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Stove Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Frigidaire builds its stoves

The freestanding Frigidaire with its controls on a backguard is a fixture of rentals and older kitchens. On the gas version, a cold oven usually means the igniter has aged to the point that the valve never opens. On coil-top electrics, bake elements burn out and a burner that works only when you wiggle the coil usually has a burned receptacle. Smoothtop models have radiant elements and infinite switches. In older houses the range outlet and wiring may be as old as the kitchen, so when power cuts in and out or a single burner runs weak, the outlet and cord are tested along with the stove. When it slides back into place, the anti-tip bracket should be engaged.

Parts that tend to fail on Frigidaire stoves

  • Oven igniter too weak
  • Bake element burned out
  • Coil receptacle burned
  • Infinite switch failing
  • Spark switch stuck on

FAQ

Frigidaire Stove Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

The receptacle the coil plugs into has probably burned or loosened, and sometimes the coil's terminals are pitted too. Replacing a burned receptacle and coil together usually fixes it for good.

Yes. Without it, a range can tip forward when someone leans or steps on the open door, which is a real risk with children around. We can install one when we're there for a repair.
