Samsung Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Samsung service center, and not authorized by Samsung. If your stove is still inside the Samsung warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Stove Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Samsung builds its stoves

The freestanding Samsung stove is the model you meet in rentals, garden apartments and kitchens that were never gutted: burners or elements on top, one oven below, dials or a basic panel. Gas versions light the oven with a hot-surface igniter, and the oven gas valve opens only while that igniter pulls enough current. As it ages it can still glow orange but fall short, so the oven sits cold with gas never arriving. Electric stoves use coil or radiant surface elements and a bake element in the oven, and a loose coil will scorch its receptacle. Samsung gas stoves are normally set for natural gas, which is what Washington Gas delivers, and any propane conversion uses the kit meant for that model. After work on the gas side, disturbed fittings are leak-tested.

Parts that tend to fail on Samsung stoves

  • Oven igniter glowing but not opening the valve
  • Coil receptacle scorched by a loose element
  • Surface spark switch stuck closed
  • Oven sensor resistance out of spec
  • Burner cap off-center, flame uneven

Checks you can safely make before booking are on the stove repair page for all brands.

FAQ

Samsung Stove Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

A slow-lighting oven often has a weak igniter that is barely opening the valve. If you notice a strong or lingering gas smell, turn it off, ventilate and call Washington Gas from outside. Once it has been checked, the igniter can be tested by current draw and replaced.

A cap that isn't seated or clogged burner ports are the usual reasons, and cleaning and reseating the parts often fixes it. If the flame stays yellow or lifts off the burner, the air mix or gas pressure needs a closer look.
