Dacor stove repair
Dacor Stove Repair in Maryland
We repair Dacor stoves at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. A Dacor range described the way its owner lives with it: a burner that refuses to light, an oven overshooting its setting, a frozen display or knob lights gone dark.
Booking online works too. With the Dacor stove's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Dacor Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Dacor service center, and not authorized by Dacor. If your stove is still inside the Dacor warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Dacor builds its stoves
People who call their Dacor range a stove usually describe it by what went wrong at dinner. Maybe a burner ticks and never catches, or the oven overshoots, or the display locks on an error, or the knob lights have gone dark. On top, the sealed burners are spark-lit and many relight themselves, so repeated ticking points to a wet or dirty electrode, a shifted cap or an aging spark module. In the oven, a temperature that runs away almost always leads back to the probe, while a long preheat suggests a weak element or a convection fan that has quit. A frozen control on an older unit can sometimes be revived by switching off the breaker for a minute. If it locks again, we test the control and its wiring.
Parts that tend to fail on Dacor stoves
- Relight clicking on every burner
- Oven overshooting the set temperature
- Knob illumination dark
- Control frozen on an error
- Cracked igniter at one burner
Checks you can safely make before booking are on the stove repair page for all brands.

Dacor Stove Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Turn off the breaker for the range for about a minute, then turn it back on. That clears many lockups. If the same error returns, note it and tell us when booking. It usually points to a probe, a door switch or the control.
If the smell is strong, leave the house and call Washington Gas or 911 from outside. Don't use switches or flames. A faint smell only when a burner lights can come from slow ignition. We can check ignition and connections once the gas company has cleared any leak.
