Fisher & Paykel Stove Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Fisher & Paykel service center, and not authorized by Fisher & Paykel. If your stove is still inside the Fisher & Paykel warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Stove Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Fisher & Paykel builds its stoves

Ask a Fisher & Paykel owner about the stove and they mean a freestanding range; the lineup runs from gas-on-gas to induction over an electric oven. The model number decides everything, because a cold oven on a gas model means an igniter or valve, while on an electric one it means elements, a sensor or a relay. Years of spills also run down past the burners into the knob switches and the wiring below, and a switch that has taken on moisture can cause constant clicking or a burner that won't respond. Freestanding stoves should always be held by an anti-tip bracket, and that bracket is sometimes lost when a floor is replaced. If we slide a gas stove out, we close the shutoff first and leak-test afterward.

Parts that tend to fail on Fisher & Paykel stoves

  • Oven igniter or bake element dead
  • Knob switch corroded by spills
  • Induction zone not responding
  • Oven sensor misreading
  • Clock or control display blank

FAQ

Fisher & Paykel Stove Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

On gas models the low-flame setting on that valve may be off, or the burner cap and ports may be dirty enough that a small flame can't stay lit. On induction, it may be the zone control. We test on the stove to see which applies.

Yes. Many repairs don't require moving it at all. When we do need to pull it out, the gas is turned off first, the floor is protected, and the connection is leak-tested when it goes back. The anti-tip bracket is reattached too.
