Blomberg microwave repair
Blomberg Microwave Repair in Maryland
We repair Blomberg microwaves at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Microwaves sold as companions to Blomberg ovens, often built in. We fix units that run without heating, units that are dead after a blown fuse, bad door switches and arcing.
Booking online works too. With the Blomberg microwave's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Blomberg Microwave Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Blomberg service center, and not authorized by Blomberg. If your microwave is still inside the Blomberg warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Microwave Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Blomberg builds its microwaves
Blomberg's microwaves are sold alongside its ovens and ranges, and they break in the same ways other microwaves do. When the light comes on and the plate turns but food stays cold, the problem is in the high-voltage section: magnetron, rectifier diode, capacitor or transformer. When the whole unit is dead, the main fuse has usually blown, and a failed door interlock switch is the usual reason. Sparks inside tend to start at a damaged waveguide cover or a spot of chipped cavity paint. Built-in units are held in place by a trim kit that has to come off before the unit can be serviced. The capacitor stores enough energy to injure someone after the plug is pulled, which is why this is not a do-it-yourself repair.
Parts that tend to fail on Blomberg microwaves
- Magnetron no longer heating
- Main fuse blown, blank display
- Door interlock switch failed
- Waveguide cover scorched and arcing
- Touch panel keys unresponsive

Blomberg Microwave Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Often, yes. We test the magnetron, diode, capacitor and transformer, find the failed one and quote it. With a built-in model, repair tends to make sense, since whatever replaces it must match the cutout and the trim kit already in the cabinet.
A hard slam can break a door interlock switch, and a failed interlock often takes the main fuse with it. We test every interlock along with the fuse, because changing only the fuse leaves the cause in place.
