Thermador range repair
Thermador Range Repair in Maryland
We repair Thermador ranges at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Pro Harmony and Pro Grand ranges in gas, dual-fuel and induction, many with a griddle or grill. Oven igniters, spark modules, valves, convection elements, steam oven parts and door hinges.
Booking online works too. With the Thermador range's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Thermador Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Thermador service center, and not authorized by Thermador. If your range is still inside the Thermador warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Thermador builds its ranges
Thermador sells two pro-style range lines, Pro Harmony and the larger Pro Grand, and both come in gas, dual-fuel and induction, with Pro Grand going up to 60 inches. Wider models often add a griddle or a grill section heated separately from the burners, and some pair the main oven with a steam oven or a warming drawer. In an all-gas oven, the glow igniter and the safety valve work as a pair, and when the igniter weakens the burner takes longer and longer to catch. Dual-fuel versions put electric bake, broil and convection elements under the gas burners. These ranges are heavy and fitted tightly into cabinetry and under hoods. When one truly has to be pulled, it takes two of us, the floor gets covered, the anti-tip bracket goes back on and the gas fitting is leak-tested. Most repairs, though, happen with the range in place.
Parts that tend to fail on Thermador ranges
- Gas oven igniter weak
- Convection element open on dual-fuel
- Griddle heating unevenly
- Spark module failing
- Oven door hinge worn

Thermador Range Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Usually. Uneven heating comes from a partly blocked burner, a weak igniter, a thermostat that isn't regulating or, on electric griddles, a failing element. We check how that section is heated and controlled on your model, then test those parts.
Yes. It runs from its own tank, pump and boiler, and faults there don't affect the main oven. Scale is the most common cause of trouble, so we check the steam path and descaling history first.
