Dacor Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Dacor service center, and not authorized by Dacor. If your range is still inside the Dacor warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Dacor builds its ranges

Dacor ranges are pro-style units offered as all-gas, dual-fuel and induction, from 30 to 48 inches wide, some with a griddle down the middle. A dual-fuel model has two hookups, a gas line for the burners and a 240-volt circuit for the electric Pure Convection oven, so its faults divide cleanly between the two. On all-gas models a hot-surface igniter lights the bake burner, with a broil burner of its own above. Induction ranges have no gas at all and rely on power boards and the fans that cool them. A range this size is not moved casually. When we have to slide one out, the floor gets covered, the gas or power is shut off and the anti-tip bracket goes back on afterward. Most burner and oven work is done from the front without moving it.

Parts that tend to fail on Dacor ranges

  • Oven igniter too weak for the valve
  • Convection element open on a dual-fuel oven
  • Griddle burner not lighting
  • Induction cooling fan clogged
  • Stiff or leaking burner valve

FAQ

Dacor Range Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

The oven is electric and runs on its own circuit. We check that breaker first, then the elements, the probe, the relays and the control. Working burners only prove the gas side is fine.

Usually. Igniters, valves, elements and fans are often available. The question mark is the control board on some models. We confirm that board can still be bought before quoting, so you know the repair can actually be finished.
