LG Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a LG service center, and not authorized by LG. If your range is still inside the LG warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How LG builds its ranges

LG's step-up ranges pile features onto the basic stove: front controls and a slide-in body, Wi-Fi, air fry, InstaView glass, and in some cases a gas top over an electric oven. With that comes more to fail. When the oven won't heat or posts an error, the sensor, elements and control board get checked in that order. Front-control panels sit where hands and spills reach them, and a worn one ignores presses or registers presses nobody made. Air fry leans on the convection fan and element, so those wear faster in kitchens that use it daily. Gas and dual-fuel tops add igniters and valves. A slide-in pulled out for service has to go back with its anti-tip bracket engaged.

Parts that tend to fail on LG ranges

  • Touch panel ignoring presses
  • Control board not powering elements
  • Convection fan motor failed
  • Oven igniter weak on gas models
  • Oven sensor out of range

Checks you can safely make before booking are on the range repair page for all brands.

FAQ

LG Range Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Air fry is really fast, hot convection. If either has failed, food comes out soft. We test both along with the board's relays for that circuit.

First make sure Control Lock isn't on. After that, suspect the keypad, the flat cable connecting it, or the main board, and heat and spills are hard on the panel. Each gets tested so only the failed part is ordered.
