Kenmore Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Kenmore service center, and not authorized by Kenmore. If your range is still inside the Kenmore warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

What's inside a Kenmore range

Newer Kenmore ranges include slide-in and front-control models with convection, glass touch controls and, on some, an air-fry setting. Each feature adds parts to the list: a convection fan motor and ring element, an electronic control with relays, a membrane touchpad and a temperature sensor. The common repairs follow from that, including a convection fan that grinds or quits, a touchpad that ignores presses, a sensor that reads off, and a board relay that no longer closes. On gas models the oven igniter is still the part replaced most often. Kenmore ranges have come from more than one factory, so we read the supplier code before ordering anything, and we look up what the air-fry mode actually uses on your model before assuming it has its own parts.

Parts that tend to fail on Kenmore ranges

  • Convection fan motor grinding
  • Touchpad keys not registering
  • Oven temperature sensor out of range
  • Relay on the control board failed
  • Gas oven igniter worn

FAQ

Kenmore Range Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Not necessarily. Many codes point to a sensor, a door lock or a wiring fault rather than the board itself. We note the code, look up what it means for your builder and model, and check that component first before any control board goes on the quote.

The membrane touchpad is often the cause, especially if the dead buttons are in one area. The control board can also fail. We test the touchpad's circuits and the board separately, so only the failed part gets replaced.
