Maytag Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Maytag service center, and not authorized by Maytag. If your range is still inside the Maytag warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Maytag builds its ranges

Newer Maytag ranges, whether front-control, slide-in or freestanding, add electronics. Many have a touch panel, convection, Power Preheat for faster heating, and a Power Burner on gas models. The touch panel can stop responding to a key or two. An oven that seems slow on Power Preheat usually has a convection element or fan out, or a weak bake igniter on gas. The oven temperature sensor can drift. Slide-in models are fitted between counters, so we pull them out carefully and check the anti-tip bracket when they go back in.

Parts that tend to fail on Maytag ranges

  • Touch panel ignoring some keys
  • Slow Power Preheat
  • Convection fan or element failed
  • Bake igniter too weak for valve
  • Oven sensor drifting

Our range repair guide covers the problems every manufacturer shares.

FAQ

Maytag Range Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Power Preheat runs several heat sources together. If one is out, like the convection element, the fan or a weak igniter on gas, the oven still works but preheats slowly. We test each source.

Yes. Usually the membrane keypad or the touch control assembly is at fault. We confirm which with a test and replace that part without changing the whole control.
