Bertazzoni Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Bertazzoni service center, and not authorized by Bertazzoni. If your range is still inside the Bertazzoni warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Bertazzoni builds its ranges

Which Bertazzoni range you own shapes the diagnosis more than the symptom does. Look at the rating label or the oven itself. An all-gas range lights its oven with a burner and igniter, guarded by its own flame-safety valve, and may add an electric broiler. A dual-fuel range pairs the gas burners with an electric multifunction oven, so it needs a 240-volt circuit behind it as well as a gas connection, and an oven fault there is electrical. An induction range has no gas parts at all. The wide 36- and 48-inch models add a second oven or a griddle, each with its own parts. These ranges are heavy, and the floors in older Bethesda and Chevy Chase houses are not always level, so leveling and the anti-tip bracket get attention whenever one is moved.

Parts that tend to fail on Bertazzoni ranges

  • Top burner thermocouple failing
  • Oven igniter not sparking
  • Dual-fuel bake element open
  • Convection fan seized
  • Griddle burner not holding flame

FAQ

Bertazzoni Range Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

No. On a dual-fuel range the oven is electric. Working burners confirm the gas side, so we look at the oven elements, fan, selector, control and the 240-volt supply.

Rarely. Burner parts come off from above, and most oven components are reached from inside the cavity. Pulling it forward is needed for the gas connection, the power supply and some wiring, and when it goes back, the anti-tip bracket is re-engaged.
