Electrolux Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Electrolux service center, and not authorized by Electrolux. If your range is still inside the Electrolux warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Electrolux builds its ranges

Electrolux ranges come freestanding and slide-in, in gas, electric, dual-fuel and induction, and many recent models add an air-fry mode that runs through the convection system. In an all-gas oven, the igniter is the part to watch. It is wired in series with the gas valve, so as it ages the glow looks the same but the valve gets less current, and the oven starts to light after a long pause or doesn't light. Electric and dual-fuel ovens depend on their bake, broil and convection heaters and the probe the control reads. Induction models bring power electronics and a fan to keep them cool. Heavy self-clean use eventually wears out the door lock. Because so many components are shared with Frigidaire's upper lines, parts for most repairs are easy to get.

Parts that tend to fail on Electrolux ranges

  • Glow igniter below valve current
  • Bake element burned through
  • Convection fan motor failing
  • Self-clean door lock stuck
  • Induction power board faulty

Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our range repair overview.

FAQ

Electrolux Range Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

A faint whiff right as it lights can happen when the igniter is getting weak and the burner lights late. It's a sign to have the igniter checked. A continuous gas smell with everything off is different: leave the house and call Washington Gas or your gas utility from outside.

Not usually. On most models air fry is a program that runs the convection fan and its heater hard, plus the normal oven sensor. If crisping has fallen off, the fan motor and convection element are the first things we test.
