KitchenAid range repair
KitchenAid Range Repair in Maryland
We repair KitchenAid ranges at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Slide-in ranges and commercial-style dual-fuel models with Even-Heat convection. Oven elements and fans, burner ignition, touch panels and door locks are frequent repairs.
Booking online works too. With the KitchenAid range's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
KitchenAid Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a KitchenAid service center, and not authorized by KitchenAid. If your range is still inside the KitchenAid warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How KitchenAid builds its ranges
The slide-in and commercial-style dual-fuel ranges account for most of KitchenAid's cooking repairs. A dual-fuel range is two appliances sharing a cabinet: spark-lit gas burners on top and an electric Even-Heat convection oven below, each with its own supply. That split tells us where to start, since an oven that stays cold is an electrical question and a burner that won't catch is a gas one. The commercial-style models weigh a lot and stand on leveling legs, so sliding one out takes floor protection and care with the gas flex line. Slide-ins keep their glass touch controls just above the oven door, where heat and steam wear them out. After a self-clean, a lock that won't release is a routine call.
Parts that tend to fail on KitchenAid ranges
- Burner not sparking
- Even-Heat element or fan failed
- Touch panel unresponsive
- Oven sensor misreading
- Self-clean lock stuck closed

KitchenAid Range Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
No. On a dual-fuel range the oven is electric and uses its own circuit. We check the breaker, then the elements, the sensor, the relays and the control. Working burners only prove the gas side is fine.
Not for most oven and burner repairs. When it has to move, we protect the floor, disconnect gas and power safely, leak-test the gas connection afterward and refit the anti-tip bracket.
