JennAir Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a JennAir service center, and not authorized by JennAir. If your range is still inside the JennAir warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Range Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How JennAir builds its ranges

JennAir's current ranges are pro-style gas, dual-fuel and induction models up to 48 inches wide. On a gas top, constant clicking or a burner that won't catch usually traces to a spark module, a dirty or cracked electrode, or a knob switch holding closed. Oven faults depend on fuel. A dual-fuel oven heats with electric elements and a convection fan under the watch of a temperature probe; an all-gas oven lights its burners with igniters feeding safety valves. Induction models add power electronics that need their fans to stay cool, and some ranges are Wi-Fi connected. Summer storms here can cut the power and then bring it back with a spike, and electronics on any range can suffer for it. We test each system before blaming the board, since a control often takes the fall for a cheaper part.

Parts that tend to fail on JennAir ranges

  • Spark module or electrode fault
  • Oven igniter or element failed
  • Convection fan motor failed
  • Oven sensor out of range
  • Control board damaged by a power surge

Our range repair guide covers the problems every manufacturer shares.

FAQ

JennAir Range Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

A surge when power returned may have damaged the control or tripped a protective part. Reset the breaker first. If the range stays dead, we check the incoming power, fuses and control, and ask whether other appliances were affected.

Rack position and pan choice matter, but a failed convection fan or element is a common cause. We put a thermometer in the cavity, watch the fan and meter each element before recommending a part.
