Fisher & Paykel range repair
Fisher & Paykel Range Repair in Maryland
We repair Fisher & Paykel ranges at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Professional-style gas, dual-fuel and induction ranges, some descended from DCS designs. Reignition sparking, igniters, convection fans and cooling fans are frequent repairs.
Booking online works too. With the Fisher & Paykel range's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Fisher & Paykel Range Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Fisher & Paykel service center, and not authorized by Fisher & Paykel. If your range is still inside the Fisher & Paykel warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Range Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Fisher & Paykel builds its ranges
The bigger Fisher & Paykel ranges are professional-style units that grew out of the DCS designs the company acquired in 2004: stainless bodies, cast grates, dual-flame burners and deep convection ovens. They come as all-gas, dual-fuel and induction, and the widest reach 48 inches. On the gas tops, the spark module, electrodes and knob switches cause many service calls, especially when the reignition feature starts clicking with no reason. A dual-fuel oven depends on electric elements, a rear convection fan and a board that trusts a temperature probe, while an all-gas oven lights with igniters and safety valves. A cooling fan protects the controls, and when it quits, the oven can shut itself off in the middle of a roast.
Parts that tend to fail on Fisher & Paykel ranges
- Reignition clicking with the flame lit
- Oven igniter losing current
- Convection fan motor stopped
- Oven sensor or control fault
- Cooling fan dead, oven shutting down
Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our range repair overview.

Fisher & Paykel Range Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Some designs share ancestry, but you can't assume parts interchange. After the 2004 acquisition, Fisher & Paykel developed its own models from DCS designs, and part numbers changed. We look up your exact model number before ordering anything.
A failed cooling fan lets the control overheat and shut down. A faulty sensor or a door not sealing can do it too. The fault history comes first, then the fan and probe get tested; the board is the last suspect.
