Dacor Cooktop Repair in Maryland
We repair Dacor cooktops at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Gas cooktops with lighted knobs and high-output burners, plus induction and radiant tops. Spark modules, reignition faults, knob lights and induction boards are frequent repairs.
Booking online works too. With the Dacor cooktop's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Dacor Cooktop Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Dacor service center, and not authorized by Dacor. If your cooktop is still inside the Dacor warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Cooktop Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Dacor builds its cooktops
Dacor gas cooktops are recognizable by their lighted knobs and sealed high-output burners, and many models also offer a very low simmer setting. A spark module fires an electrode beside every burner, and many models relight automatically if a flame goes out. That relight feature needs to sense a flame, so a dirty electrode or a cap sitting slightly crooked can keep a burner clicking even while it's lit. The knob lights run on their own low-voltage supply and fail independently of the gas side. Induction and radiant Dacor tops follow electronic patterns instead: power boards, cooling fans and glass. Since these cooktops sit over drawers or a wall oven, we check access and the gas shutoff first.
Parts that tend to fail on Dacor cooktops
- Relight system clicking with the flame on
- Knob light supply failed
- Spark module dead
- Cap shifted after cleaning
- Induction board faulted

Dacor Cooktop Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
The relight system doesn't think there's a flame. A dirty or wet electrode, a cap not sitting flat, or a weak flame not reaching the electrode can all cause it. Clean and dry the burner and reseat the cap. If the clicking continues, we test the module and electrode.
No. The knob lights are separate from ignition and gas flow, so the burners still work normally. The light supply or a wiring connection has usually failed, and it can often be replaced if you want them back.
