Bertazzoni cooktop repair
Bertazzoni Cooktop Repair in Maryland
We repair Bertazzoni cooktops at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Gas cooktops built around a dual-ring power burner with flame-safety valves, plus induction models. Burners that won't stay lit, constant sparking, poor simmer and induction faults are typical.
Booking online works too. With the Bertazzoni cooktop's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Bertazzoni Cooktop Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Bertazzoni service center, and not authorized by Bertazzoni. If your cooktop is still inside the Bertazzoni warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Cooktop Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Bertazzoni builds its cooktops
Bertazzoni's gas cooktops use the burner hardware from its ranges, including the signature dual-ring power burner, which is really two concentric flames fed from one valve. It comes apart into several stacked pieces for cleaning, and it only burns cleanly when each piece sits exactly where it belongs. A crown turned a few degrees or a cap resting on crumbs gives a lifting, ragged or partial flame. Every burner, big or small, is also guarded by a thermocouple. If a burner won't stay lit after you let go of the knob, clean the probe, check it points into the flame, and if it still fails, the probe or valve is replaced. Ticking that won't stop after a spill is moisture on an electrode or under a knob. Induction cooktops share nothing with this; their faults are in boards, coils and fans.
Parts that tend to fail on Bertazzoni cooktops
- Thermocouple not holding the valve
- Dual-ring crown reassembled crooked
- Spark electrode cracked or greasy
- Ticking after a boil-over
- Induction zone cutting out

Bertazzoni Cooktop Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
If the other burners behave, gas supply isn't the issue. That burner's thermocouple is the likely culprit: grease on the tip, a tip knocked out of the flame during cleaning, or a probe that has simply worn out. Cleaning and repositioning sometimes fixes it; otherwise the thermocouple is replaced.
Avoid it. Each crown and cap is sized for its base, and swapping or misaligning them causes uneven flames and poor ignition. Keep the pieces for each burner together while cleaning, and make sure they sit flat when reassembled.
