Thor Kitchen Dishwasher Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Thor Kitchen service center, and not authorized by Thor Kitchen. If your dishwasher is still inside the Thor Kitchen warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Thor Kitchen builds its dishwashers

Thor's dishwashers are 24-inch stainless or panel-ready models with a filter in the tub floor that needs regular rinsing. When it clogs, water sits in the bottom after the cycle. A drain pump that is weak or jammed does the same. An inlet valve that fails leaves the tub dry. The door latch can fail to catch, and the control won't start. On panel-ready models, the hinge springs have to match the panel weight. A control that won't respond can sometimes be reset by cutting power for a minute, and if not, we test it.

Parts that tend to fail on Thor Kitchen dishwashers

  • Standing water from a clogged filter
  • Drain pump weak or jammed
  • Inlet valve not filling
  • Door latch not catching
  • Controls unresponsive

FAQ

Thor Kitchen Dishwasher Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Take out and rinse the filter in the tub floor, and check that the drain hose isn't kinked under the sink. If it still holds water, the drain pump is probably weak or jammed, and we test it.

Try turning off power at the breaker for a minute, which sometimes clears a locked control. Still dead? Then the keypad, the door switch and the control board get tested.
