Frigidaire dishwasher repair
Frigidaire Dishwasher Repair in Maryland
We repair Frigidaire dishwashers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Frigidaire and Gallery built-ins with removable filters. Jammed drain pumps, clogged fill valves, worn latches, seized wash motors and control faults make up most calls.
Booking online works too. With the Frigidaire dishwasher's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Frigidaire Dishwasher Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Frigidaire service center, and not authorized by Frigidaire. If your dishwasher is still inside the Frigidaire warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Frigidaire builds its dishwashers
Frigidaire and Gallery dishwashers are built for value, and most of their failures involve getting water in and out. A drain pump that grabs a piece of glass or a bottle cap leaves standing water. A fill valve that sticks or gets clogged by scale starves the wash. The door latch and its switch must both engage before a cycle starts, and a worn latch is one of the more common repairs. Newer models rely on a removable filter that owners are supposed to clean, and a neglected one makes dishes come out gritty. If you hear humming but no spray, the wash motor may be stuck. Control boards do fail, but the latch, the valve and the motor get tested first.
Parts that tend to fail on Frigidaire dishwashers
- Drain pump jammed on debris
- Fill valve clogged or failed
- Door latch not engaging
- Wash motor seized
- Filter packed with food
Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our dishwasher repair overview.

Frigidaire Dishwasher Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
The wash motor may be seized or blocked by debris, or it may not be getting power from the control. We check the motor and its supply to find out which.
Quite possibly. A clogged filter causes poor washing, grit on dishes and slow draining. Remove it, wash it in the sink with warm water and an old toothbrush, and lock it back in. If problems continue, we test the pumps.
