Electrolux dishwasher repair
Electrolux Dishwasher Repair in Maryland
We repair Electrolux dishwashers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Built-in dishwashers with stainless tubs. Blocked drain pumps, wash motors that hum without spraying, float switches, door latches and control failures after a leak.
Booking online works too. With the Electrolux dishwasher's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Electrolux Dishwasher Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Electrolux service center, and not authorized by Electrolux. If your dishwasher is still inside the Electrolux warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Electrolux builds its dishwashers
Mechanically, an Electrolux dishwasher is close cousin to Frigidaire's upper models: a wash motor and separate drain pump in the sump, a removable filter at the bottom, a heater, and a float that stops the fill if water climbs too high. Most service calls start in the drain path, where food wedges at the pump, the filter clogs, or a new disposal still has its knockout plug in place. If the panel lights up but nothing happens when you press start, suspect the latch: the control won't run until a switch inside it says the door is closed. Leaks that reach the control area can take the control board with them. We clear and test the drain side first and look for signs of past leaks before we recommend an expensive motor or board.
Parts that tend to fail on Electrolux dishwashers
- Food wedged at the drain pump impeller
- Filter clogged under the lower spray arm
- Float switch stuck in the raised position
- Door latch not engaging
- Wash motor humming without spraying

Electrolux Dishwasher Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
The wash motor may be jammed by debris, often glass or a fruit pit, or its start components may have failed. We clear the sump and test the motor before recommending a replacement.
It could. If the float is stuck up, the dishwasher believes it's already full. Check that the float in the front corner of the tub moves freely. If it does, we test the inlet valve, the water supply and the float switch itself.
