Dacor Dishwasher Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Dacor service center, and not authorized by Dacor. If your dishwasher is still inside the Dacor warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Dacor builds its dishwashers

A Dacor dishwasher bought in the last several years is a Samsung-platform machine, sold with a stainless door or ready for a custom panel. It filters through a removable cylinder under the lower spray arm and uses separate wash and drain pumps. A float or sensor in the base stops the cycle and pumps out water if a leak reaches it, so a machine that suddenly halts and drains is telling you something is wet underneath. Poor cleaning usually starts with the filter or a spray arm clogged with seeds or labels. Panel-ready doors need hinge springs matched to the panel's weight. Older, pre-Samsung Dacor dishwashers were sourced from outside manufacturers, and each needs its own parts lookup.

Parts that tend to fail on Dacor dishwashers

  • Filter cylinder clogged
  • Leak sensor tripping the cycle
  • Drain pump obstructed
  • Hinge spring snapped
  • Fill valve failed

Our dishwasher repair guide covers the problems every manufacturer shares.

FAQ

Dacor Dishwasher Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Most likely water reached the leak detector under the tub. A loose hose, a worn seal or foam from the wrong detergent are the usual sources. Once the leak is found and the base has dried out, the machine runs normally again.

Check the filter and the upper spray arm. A clogged filter starves the pump, and a blocked arm won't reach the top rack. If both are clean, we test the wash pump and the diverter that sends water to each arm.
