JennAir dishwasher repair
JennAir Dishwasher Repair in Maryland
We repair JennAir dishwashers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Built-in JennAir dishwashers, many with custom fronts. Grit and slow drains from a neglected filter, pumps, fill valves, door springs that can't carry the panel, and latch faults.
Booking online works too. With the JennAir dishwasher's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
JennAir Dishwasher Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a JennAir service center, and not authorized by JennAir. If your dishwasher is still inside the JennAir warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How JennAir builds its dishwashers
Inside, a JennAir dishwasher is a Whirlpool-family machine, closely related to KitchenAid's, which means familiar pumps, valves and filters and a deep parts supply. The difference is often on the outside. A panel-ready model carries a wood front that can weigh several pounds, and the door springs have to be sized for it. If a spring snaps, or the installer never swapped in the heavier springs, the door either drops like a trapdoor or snaps up on its own. The other big one is the filter. JennAir dishwashers rely on a cylinder under the lower rack that owners are meant to twist out and rinse, and when it's forgotten, dishes come out gritty and water drains slowly. A disposal connection or a kinked hose can also cause drain faults. When a code appears, it usually names a symptom, so we test the parts before trusting the code.
Parts that tend to fail on JennAir dishwashers
- Hand-clean filter clogged
- Drain pump failed
- Inlet valve not filling
- Door spring broken or mismatched to panel
- Heating element or thermistor fault
Our dishwasher repair guide covers the problems every manufacturer shares.

JennAir Dishwasher Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Follow the manual's schedule, and clean it sooner if dishes go in with a lot of food on them. A clogged filter leads to poor washing, grit on glasses and slow draining. If cleaning it doesn't help, we test the pumps and fill.
The door springs need to be rated for the panel's weight, and one may have broken or the originals may be too light. We fit the right springs and balance the door so it stays where you leave it.
