Fisher & Paykel dishwasher repair
Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Repair in Maryland
We repair Fisher & Paykel dishwashers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Single and double DishDrawers plus some full-size built-ins. Lid seals, drawer filters, pumps, flex harness wear and lid motor faults lead the list.
Booking online works too. With the Fisher & Paykel dishwasher's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Fisher & Paykel service center, and not authorized by Fisher & Paykel. If your dishwasher is still inside the Fisher & Paykel warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Fisher & Paykel builds its dishwashers
Think of a DishDrawer as a compact dishwasher on runners. Inside each drawer is a separate wash pump, drain pump, heater and circuit board, and at the start of a cycle a motorized lid drops down and clamps against the tub. That lid seal is behind most leaks and weak washes: when it is worn, torn or pushed out of its channel, water escapes and pressure falls. The drawer's water and power arrive through a flexible harness that flexes with every opening, and after years of daily use it can crack or chafe. Each drawer also has a small filter in its floor. A clogged filter produces drain errors that look exactly like a failed pump, so it's always the first thing we check.
Parts that tend to fail on Fisher & Paykel dishwashers
- Lid seal worn or out of its channel
- Drawer filter blocked
- Lid motor not lowering the lid
- Flex harness cracked from drawer travel
- Wash pump motor failing

Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
The lid seal is the usual source. It presses against the top of the tub while the drawer runs, and if it's worn, twisted or blocked by a tall pan, water gets past. We check the seal, the lid mechanism and the hoses behind the drawer.
Lift out the filter at the bottom of that drawer and clean it. A packed filter causes drain faults that stop the cycle. If the error continues with a clean filter, note the code and let us know when booking.
