Thermador Dishwasher Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Thermador service center, and not authorized by Thermador. If your dishwasher is still inside the Thermador warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Dishwasher Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Thermador builds its dishwashers

Inside a Thermador dishwasher you will find the same BSH engineering Bosch uses, which makes it a known quantity. Water is drained by its own small pump, washed around by a circulation pump that on most models carries the heater inside it, and any leak falls into a tray under the tub where a foam float sits waiting. When that float lifts, the dishwasher stops and drains, and the display shows a leak or water protection error. The source might be a leaking pump seal, a loose hose clamp, a door that isn't sealing or too much suds from the wrong detergent. The door rides on springs and cables that stretch or snap, particularly on panel-ready models with heavy fronts. We lift the filter, check the sump and drain pump, and look in the base tray before we suggest a control.

Parts that tend to fail on Thermador dishwashers

  • Drain pump jammed with debris
  • Base pan float tripped by a leak
  • Heater in the circulation pump failed
  • Door hinge cable snapped
  • Filter and sump clogged

Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our dishwasher repair overview.

FAQ

Thermador Dishwasher Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Turn it off at the breaker and don't keep resetting it. Water has reached the tray under the tub and lifted the float. We find where the water came from, fix it, dry the tray so the float drops and then run a test cycle. Resetting without fixing the leak only brings the error back.

Usually it's a broken or stretched spring or cable, especially with a heavy custom panel. We replace the springs and cables as a set and adjust them to your panel's weight so the door stays where you leave it.
