Turbo Air freezer repair
Turbo Air Freezer Repair in Maryland
We repair Turbo Air freezers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Reach-in, undercounter and chest freezers. Coils buried in ice after a defrost fault, termination sensors, fan motors, and doors that drift open or no longer seal.
Booking online works too. With the Turbo Air freezer's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Turbo Air Freezer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Turbo Air service center, and not authorized by Turbo Air. If your freezer is still inside the Turbo Air warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Freezer Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Turbo Air builds its freezers
A Turbo Air freezer keeps its coil clear with timed defrost cycles. The controller energizes a heater on the evaporator, and a termination sensor tells it when the ice is gone. If the heater opens, the sensor fails or the controller skips a cycle, ice keeps building until air can't pass through the coil, and the box warms even though the compressor never stops. That is the most common reason these freezers lose temperature. A dirty condenser makes it worse by forcing longer run times. So does a door that no longer swings shut by itself or a gasket that has flattened, since every gap lets in humid kitchen air that ends up as frost. We check the coil, the defrost parts, the door and the condenser before anyone suspects refrigerant.
Parts that tend to fail on Turbo Air freezers
- Coil packed with ice
- Defrost heater or termination sensor failed
- Evaporator fan stopped
- Condenser too dirty to reject heat
- Door not self-closing

Turbo Air Freezer Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Either humid air is getting in, through a worn gasket or a door that doesn't close by itself, or defrost isn't clearing the coil. We check the door and gasket, then test the heater, termination sensor and controller.
Possibly, but less often than people think. An iced coil, a stopped fan or a clogged condenser causes the same thing and is cheaper to fix. Those are ruled out before the sealed system is tested.
