Atosa freezer repair
Atosa Freezer Repair in Maryland
We repair Atosa freezers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Reach-in and undercounter freezers. Defrost heaters, frozen drain lines, iced coils, gasket frost and compressors tripping in hot kitchens are the common faults.
Booking online works too. With the Atosa freezer's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Atosa Freezer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Atosa service center, and not authorized by Atosa. If your freezer is still inside the Atosa warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Freezer Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Atosa builds its freezers
An Atosa freezer is built like the refrigerator but runs its coil below freezing, so it has to melt that frost off regularly. A timed heater does the melting, and a sensor on the coil tells the control when to stop. When the heater burns out, frost thickens each day until air can't get through and the box warms. Melt water leaves through a drain line, often with its own heater, and if that line freezes, the water refreezes inside the cabinet as a sheet of ice on the floor. Worn gaskets let humid air in, and frost forms around the door frame. In a hot kitchen with a dirty condenser, the compressor overheats and trips on its overload, so the freezer runs in fits and starts.
Parts that tend to fail on Atosa freezers
- Defrost heater burned out
- Drain line frozen, ice on the cabinet floor
- Coil iced solid
- Frost around the door from a worn gasket
- Compressor tripping on overload

Atosa Freezer Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Defrost water isn't draining. The drain line or its heater may have failed, so the water freezes before it gets out. We clear the ice, test the drain heater and the defrost system, and make sure water leaves the cabinet.
Often the coil is iced over, so air can't move through it. A defrost heater that failed is the usual cause. A dirty condenser or a stalled fan also cuts cooling. We check those before anything more serious.
