Electrolux dryer repair
Electrolux Dryer Repair in Maryland
We repair Electrolux dryers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Vented electric and gas dryers, many with steam and moisture-sensing cycles. We handle no-heat calls, weak gas coils, tripped fuses, thumping rollers, broken belts and sensor bars fooled by softener film.
Booking online works too. With the Electrolux dryer's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Electrolux Dryer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Electrolux service center, and not authorized by Electrolux. If your dryer is still inside the Electrolux warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Dryer Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Electrolux builds its dryers
Electrolux dryers are vented models, electric or gas, many with a steam feature. The gas versions, which make sense in any house with Washington Gas service, light with a glow-bar igniter and a pair of valve coils; tired coils produce a dryer that heats at the start and then blows cool. Electric models run a heating element protected by a high-limit thermostat and a thermal fuse. Every one of them depends on the vent. In a townhouse or condo with a long duct to the roof or an exterior wall, lint buildup trips limits and stretches dry times long before anything breaks. Steam models add a water valve and a nozzle that mineral deposits can gradually close. We check the airflow before we replace any heating part.

- Gas valve coils weakening once warm
- Thermal fuse tripped by trapped heat

- Drum rollers flat-spotted and thumping
- Moisture sensor bars coated
Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our dryer repair overview.

Electrolux Dryer Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
The moisture sensor bars inside the drum may be coated with fabric softener residue, which fools the dryer into thinking the load is dry. Wipe them with a little rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't help, we check the sensor circuit and the vent airflow.
Usually, since the parts are small: a water inlet valve, the nozzle and the hose. Mineral deposits can block the nozzle over time. We check water supply to the dryer and test the valve before replacing anything.
