ASKO Dryer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a ASKO service center, and not authorized by ASKO. If your dryer is still inside the ASKO warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Dryer Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How ASKO builds its dryers

Which ASKO dryer you own decides where it tends to fail. A vented model pushes hot air outside like any other dryer, so it suffers from the familiar problems of blocked ducts, open elements and tripped thermal protectors. Condenser and heat-pump models keep the air inside the machine and wring the water out of it on a heat exchanger. Lint that slips past the screens slowly blankets that exchanger, drying slows and warning lights appear. The water ends up in a pull-out tank or is pumped away through a thin hose, and a stuck pump or float brings the cycle to a halt. Belts, drum rollers and the moisture sensing also wear with age. A heat-pump model has a small sealed refrigeration loop; it seldom fails, but when it does, the repair is a specialized one we explain before quoting.

Parts that tend to fail on ASKO dryers

  • Lint blanketing the heat exchanger
  • Condensate pump stuck
  • Moisture sensing ending cycles early
  • Drum belt snapped or glazed
  • Element open on a vented model

Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our dryer repair overview.

FAQ

ASKO Dryer Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Lint on the screens or on the heat exchanger is behind most slowdowns. Clean both the way your manual shows, since the exchanger is easy to overlook. If the times don't come back down, we check the fans, the sensors and the heat pump itself.

On a dryer piped to a drain, a clogged hose or a failed condensate pump will trigger it. On one using the tank, the float that senses the water level may be jammed. Testing the pump and the float tells us which.
