Avanti dryer repair
Avanti Dryer Repair in Maryland
We repair Avanti dryers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Compact dryers built to stack on Avanti's matching washer. No heat, long dry times from a pinched vent, noisy drums and door switch faults make up most visits.
Booking online works too. With the Avanti dryer's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Avanti Dryer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Avanti service center, and not authorized by Avanti. If your dryer is still inside the Avanti warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Dryer Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
What's inside an Avanti dryer
Avanti's compact dryers are built to sit on top of its front-load washer, often in a hall closet, and they have a small drum and modest heat output. That makes them unforgiving of airflow problems. A lint screen left half full, a foil transition duct flattened when the stack was pushed back, or a duct that snakes a long way to the exterior can double drying time without any part being broken. When the dryer truly produces no heat, the heating element, thermal fuse and the cycling and high-limit thermostats get tested in that order. Squeals and thumps come from drum rollers, the belt or the idler, and a door switch opened many times a day eventually wears out.
Parts that tend to fail on Avanti dryers
- Thermal fuse open after overheating
- Heating element burned open
- Transition duct flattened behind the stack
- Drum rollers squealing
- Door switch not sensing closed
Our dryer repair guide covers the problems every manufacturer shares.

Avanti Dryer Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Often the dryer is fine and the air path is not. Pull the stack forward and look at the duct behind it; a crushed foil hose is common after a closet install. Also check the outside hood. If airflow is good and the exhaust is barely warm, we test the element and thermostats.
You can buy one, but the fuse blows for a reason, most often trapped heat from a blocked vent or a failing thermostat. Replace only the fuse and it tends to blow again. We find the cause, correct it and then replace the fuse.
