Thermador oven repair
Thermador Oven Repair in Maryland
We repair Thermador ovens at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Masterpiece and Professional wall ovens, steam and combination steam ovens, and speed ovens. Convection elements and fans, self-clean door locks, oven sensors and scale in the steam system.
Booking online works too. With the Thermador oven's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Thermador Oven Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Thermador service center, and not authorized by Thermador. If your oven is still inside the Thermador warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Thermador builds its ovens
Thermador's wall ovens include the Masterpiece and Professional series in single and double configurations, combination steam ovens and speed ovens. Convection systems have a rear fan and a separate heating element that can fail independently of bake and broil, so an oven that heats but bakes unevenly usually has a convection problem rather than a control problem. The self-clean cycle runs extremely hot, and the door lock motor or switch sometimes fails during or right after it, leaving the door locked or the oven unable to heat. Steam models draw from a removable tank, and everything the water touches on the way to the cavity, the pump and boiler included, gathers minerals if the descale program is skipped. We read stored faults, test each element and sensor and verify the actual temperature with our own probe.
Parts that tend to fail on Thermador ovens
- Convection element open
- Door lock motor failed after self-clean
- Bake element burned out
- Oven temperature sensor drifting
- Steam generator clogged with scale

Thermador Oven Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Possibly not. The reminder depends on the water hardness setting and usage, and a cycle interrupted partway may not register. Check the hardness setting and run the full descale program. If the message returns immediately after a complete cycle, we check the tank sensor and steam path.
Each cavity has its own elements, sensor and lock. An upper oven that stays cold usually has a failed element, a sensor fault or a lock problem in that cavity. We test those parts before looking at the shared control.
