JennAir oven repair
JennAir Oven Repair in Maryland
We repair JennAir ovens at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Single, double and combination wall ovens, most with convection. We fix ovens that died after self-clean, locked doors, cooling fans, concealed bake elements, probes and controls.
Booking online works too. With the JennAir oven's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
JennAir Oven Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a JennAir service center, and not authorized by JennAir. If your oven is still inside the JennAir warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How JennAir builds its ovens
JennAir wall ovens are sold as singles, doubles and oven-microwave combinations, most with convection and some with steam or speed-cook functions. A touch display and control board run everything. Around that control sit the parts that actually fail: a fan that keeps the electronics cool, a probe reporting cavity temperature, a motor-driven latch for self-clean, and the heating elements, including a bake element tucked out of sight under the oven floor. Self-clean is the usual trigger. During or just after the cycle, a latch motor can jam, a thermal cutoff can open, or the control can cook itself. When a code appears, we test the part it names before condemning the control, because the board is often just the messenger.
Parts that tend to fail on JennAir ovens
- Door lock motor stuck after self-clean
- Thermal fuse open
- Cooling fan motor failed
- Oven sensor out of range
- Hidden bake element failed
Checks you can safely make before booking are on the oven repair page for all brands.

JennAir Oven Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
It's meant to keep running after cooking until the cabinet has cooled, and after broiling or self-clean that can be a good while. If it runs for hours on an oven that's already cold, a sensor or control fault is likely, and we test them.
Self-clean heat can blow a one-time thermal cutoff, jam the latch motor or overheat the control. We check the cutoff, the latch and the cooling fan before we consider the board.
