LG oven repair
LG Oven Repair in Maryland
We repair LG ovens at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. LG wall ovens and the oven cavity of LG ranges, many with ProBake and EasyClean. The sensor, heating elements, the fan-mounted convection element and the lock motor top the repair list.
Booking online works too. With the LG oven's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
LG Oven Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a LG service center, and not authorized by LG. If your oven is still inside the LG warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How LG builds its ovens
ProBake convection is the LG feature that changes the diagnosis. Instead of relying on a bottom element, it puts a heating element around the rear fan, so a failure there shows up mostly as convection results going soft. EasyClean is a short, low-heat cleaning cycle that uses water; many models still offer a full high-heat self-clean, which is much harder on the lock and control. InstaView doors light up when you knock twice on the glass. Repairs that keep coming up are the temperature sensor, the lower and upper heating elements, the fan and its ring element, the lock motor and, occasionally, a relay on the control board. An oven that heats but consistently misses its setting usually has a drifting sensor, which gets checked with a meter before any recalibration.
Parts that tend to fail on LG ovens
- Convection element around the fan open
- Oven sensor drifting
- Broil element burned through
- Door lock motor stuck
- Control board relay failed

LG Oven Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
On ProBake models the convection heat comes from an element around the rear fan. If the fan spins and the air stays cool, that element or its wiring is the likely fault. Both get tested before anything is ordered.
No. EasyClean uses a little water and low heat for a short time, so it doesn't stress the lock, thermal fuse and board the way the high-heat cycle does. Using it for routine messes means running the full self-clean less often.
