We repair Admiral ovens at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. The oven cavity of an Admiral range, gas or electric. Worn igniters, burned-out elements, drifting temperature probes and tired door hinges make up most of the list.

Admiral Oven Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Admiral service center, and not authorized by Admiral. If your oven is still inside the Admiral warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

What's inside an Admiral oven
Most Admiral oven complaints come down to four parts, which makes them some of the quicker diagnoses we do. An electric oven that won't bake has usually lost its lower element, whether exposed on the floor or hidden under a smooth panel. An oven that bakes but won't broil has an open top element. A gas oven that stays cold while a glow is visible through the broiler slot has an igniter that is too worn to open the valve. And an oven that heats but misses its set point by a wide margin often has a drifting temperature probe. Door hinges wear out too, and a door that won't stay closed bleeds heat into the kitchen. If your oven runs slightly hot or cool, many Admiral controls allow an owner temperature offset described in the manual.
Parts that tend to fail on Admiral ovens
- Glow-bar igniter glowing but gas never flows
- Hidden bake element burned through
- Temperature probe drifting off spec
- Broil element open circuit
- Door spring broken, door drops open
Our oven repair guide covers the problems every manufacturer shares.

Admiral Oven Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Many models let you set a temperature offset from the control panel; the owner's manual explains the steps. If the oven is off by much more than that, or wanders, the sensor or the igniter or element is likely failing and should be tested.
Yes. The hinges and their springs are replaceable. A door that doesn't close fully also lets heat escape and can scorch the knobs above, so it's worth doing.
