Dacor oven repair
Dacor Oven Repair in Maryland
We repair Dacor ovens at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Single and double wall ovens with Pure Convection, plus combination speed and steam ovens. Convection fans and elements, probes, relay boards and door hinges wear most.
Booking online works too. With the Dacor oven's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Dacor Oven Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Dacor service center, and not authorized by Dacor. If your oven is still inside the Dacor warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Dacor builds its ovens
The wall oven is what made Dacor's name. Its Pure Convection system uses four parts working together: a rear fan, a dedicated convection element, a baffle that directs the air and a filter. Many older ovens also hide the bake element under the floor and broil from the roof. A probe in the cavity reports to the control, and relays on a board turn each element on and off. So an oven that bakes normally but won't heat on convection usually has a failed fan motor or convection element, and one that overshoots or shows a probe message gets its probe tested before its board. The Discovery iQ models and some others use a touchscreen controller, and those are the costliest and hardest parts to source.
Parts that tend to fail on Dacor ovens
- Convection fan motor seized
- Pure Convection element open
- Probe reading out of range
- Relay board not powering an element
- Touchscreen controller dead
Our oven repair guide covers the problems every manufacturer shares.

Dacor Oven Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Not necessarily. First we confirm the screen itself has failed, not the power supply, a connector or a fuse behind it. If the controller is gone, we check whether a replacement is still available for your model. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't, and we'll tell you which.
Yes, if your model has one. The filter traps grease that would otherwise coat the fan and the oven cavity. The manual explains how to remove and clean it. A filter that's missing or clogged can affect convection results.
