Hotpoint oven repair
Hotpoint Oven Repair in Maryland
We repair Hotpoint ovens at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Nearly always the oven of a Hotpoint range. Bake elements, gas igniters, temperature sensors, selector switches, thermostats and worn door hinges are common repairs.
Booking online works too. With the Hotpoint oven's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Hotpoint Oven Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Hotpoint service center, and not authorized by Hotpoint. If your oven is still inside the Hotpoint warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How an Oven Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
What's inside a Hotpoint oven
Hotpoint rarely sells separate wall ovens, so an oven problem almost always means the oven in a Hotpoint range or stove. On electric models, the bake element is the usual failure: it glows at a split or stops heating. On gas models, a weak igniter glows but doesn't open the valve. A temperature sensor or thermostat that's failing makes the oven run hot or cold. Older models may have a selector switch that fails. The door hinges wear out and let the door hang open, which loses heat. These are simple, inexpensive repairs.
Parts that tend to fail on Hotpoint ovens
- Bake element burned out
- Gas igniter weak
- Oven sensor failed
- Door hinges worn, door hangs open
- Selector switch or thermostat faulty

Hotpoint Oven Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Usually. Worn hinges or broken hinge springs let the door hang open and leak heat. We replace the hinges, and the door gasket if it's damaged, so the door seals again.
Most likely the bake element. It sometimes shows a visible split or blister. We test it and replace it, one of the most common and least expensive oven repairs.
