Avanti Washer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Avanti service center, and not authorized by Avanti. If your washer is still inside the Avanti warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Washer Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

What's inside an Avanti washer

Avanti's portable washers exist for homes without laundry hookups, which around here often means an older apartment or a condo that never had in-unit hookups on the original plumbing. They fill through a hose that snaps onto the kitchen faucet and drain into the sink, so the weak points are easy to guess: the quick-connect adapter drips, the small drain pump chokes on lint and socks, the lid switch stops reporting that the lid is shut, and on top-loaders the belt slips during spin. The compact front-loaders act like shrunken full-size machines, with a door lock, a pump filter and suspension parts. These machines are light, so on an uneven floor they wander across the room in spin unless the feet are set properly.

Parts that tend to fail on Avanti washers

  • Faucet quick-connect adapter dripping
  • Drain pump jammed with lint or a sock
  • Lid switch not registering closed
  • Belt slipping on top-load spin
  • Machine walking across the floor

Faults that show up whatever the brand are explained in our washer repair overview.

FAQ

Avanti Washer Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Check that the drain hose is not kinked and is not lifted higher than the manual allows; these small pumps have limited lift. Then look for a sock or hair tie at the pump inlet. If the pump runs but the water level doesn't drop, or you hear nothing when it should be draining, we test the pump and the signal the control sends to it.

Usually not directly, because the adapter threads onto a standard aerator and most pull-down heads have none. Some owners add a separate fitting at the supply. For a faucet that does accept the adapter, a drip at the connection is normally a missing rubber washer or a worn coupling, which is a small fix.
