Frigidaire Washer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Frigidaire service center, and not authorized by Frigidaire. If your washer is still inside the Frigidaire warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Washer Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Frigidaire builds its washers

A Frigidaire washer might be a basic top-loader in a rental, a front-loader, or the lower half of a laundry center that fits in a closet. Top-loaders wear out lid switches, drain pumps, suspension springs and the parts that couple the motor to the basket. Front-loaders fail at the door lock, the pump and the rubber boot, and on older machines the bearings go. Laundry centers put the washer beneath a dryer in one frame, so the unit often has to be slid out to reach anything. Some problems are not the washer at all: a drain standpipe in an older basement that overflows during spin, or a supply hose that froze in an unheated space.

Parts that tend to fail on Frigidaire washers

  • Lid switch not closing
  • Drain pump jammed
  • Front-load door lock failing
  • Suspension springs stretched
  • Door boot torn

Checks you can safely make before booking are on the washer repair page for all brands.

FAQ

Frigidaire Washer Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

Usually not. A lid switch, a belt or a motor coupling is the common fix. The stacked frame means it may need to slide out, but once it's out, the washer half is fixed the same way as a standalone top-loader.

Probably not. The standpipe it drains into is overflowing, which points to a clog in the house drain or a drainpipe that can't take the flow of a modern pump. A plumber clears that; we can confirm the washer's pump is fine.
