Samsung washer repair
Samsung Washer Repair in Maryland
We repair Samsung washers at homes and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George's counties. Front-load and high-efficiency top-load washers, including Super Speed and add-a-garment models. Drain pumps, door and lid locks, suspension parts and inlet valves make up most of the work.
Booking online works too. With the Samsung washer's model number in the form, we can check part availability before we come.
First the appliance and its location, then your contact details. We follow up to schedule.
Samsung Washer Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos
We are independent: not a Samsung service center, and not authorized by Samsung. If your washer is still inside the Samsung warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.
How a Washer Repair Visit Works
Book the Visit
Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.
Find the Fault
At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.
Approve the Price
You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.
Fix and Check
The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.
How Samsung builds its washers
Samsung washers report their own trouble. 4C means the tub didn't fill as expected, 5C means it couldn't drain, dC means the load was too lopsided to spin, and dE or dL means the door or lid lock didn't confirm. A 5C is most often something small caught in the pump filter behind the little access panel at the lower front, though a failed pump or a pinched hose reads the same. High-efficiency top-loaders with worn suspension rods knock the tub against the cabinet in spin. Front-loaders develop a musty door boot when they are shut tight between loads, and Maryland's humid summers encourage it; leave the door and dispenser drawer open to dry. In a condo closet install, we also check that the drain hose and standpipe are the right height, since a hose pushed too far down can siphon water out mid-fill.
Parts that tend to fail on Samsung washers
- Pump filter blocked by coins or hair ties (5C)
- Door lock or lid lock not confirming
- Worn suspension rods letting the tub knock
- Inlet valve screen restricting fill (4C)
- Mildew and tears in the front-load door boot

Samsung Washer Repair Questions
The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.
Have a different question?
Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.
Unplug the washer, lay towels down and open the small panel at the bottom front. Drain the water through the short hose into a shallow pan, then unscrew and clean the filter. If 5C comes back with a clean filter, the drain pump or hose is the next thing to test.
Leave the door and detergent drawer open after each wash so the boot and drawer can dry, wipe the fold of the gasket, and use only HE detergent in the recommended amount. If the gasket is torn or the smell persists, the boot or the drain path may be holding water, and those can be checked.
