Dacor Wine Cooler Repair in Houses, Townhomes and Condos

We are independent: not a Dacor service center, and not authorized by Dacor. If your wine cooler is still inside the Dacor warranty, go to the manufacturer first. Once it's past that coverage, a model number in your booking lets us source parts ahead of the visit.

Condos & high-rises
Many buildings want a loading-dock slot, an elevator booking or a sign-in at the desk. Mention those rules at booking so the visit fits them.
Stacked laundry
Washer-dryer stacks in closets and hall nooks often have to come out of the space to be worked on. Measurements or a photo help us prepare.
Older houses
A new appliance in a house built decades ago can be let down by the outlet, gas line, drain or vent behind it. We test the supply as well as the machine.
Tenants & owners
A renter can book the visit. We report the fault and the quote to the owner or property manager, whose approval comes before any repair.
Humid summers & garages
Sticky summer air makes fridges sweat and front-loader gaskets smell, and a garage fridge can struggle in the heat. Some of that is upkeep, not a failed part.
A straight answer
If fixing an older unit makes little sense, you will hear that from us, along with which part gave out.

How a Wine Cooler Repair Visit Works

01

Book the Visit

Call or use the form. Name the make and describe the fault; a model number, if handy, speeds up parts.

02

Find the Fault

At your place, the technician checks the appliance and whatever feeds it (power, water, drain, gas or venting) until the cause is clear.

03

Approve the Price

You get a plain explanation and a price for the repair. The work starts only if you say yes.

04

Fix and Check

The new part is fitted and the appliance is run through a cycle, so you can see it working.

How Dacor builds its wine coolers

Dacor's wine storage is always built in, either as an undercounter unit or as a full-height column with two or more zones. Each zone has its own sensor and a slow circulating fan that keeps the air moving without jolting the bottles. So a single zone running warm, with the others steady, usually means that zone's sensor or fan. A whole cabinet running warm sends us to the condenser and its grille, which need clear space and cleaning just like a refrigerator's. Fog on the inside of the glass on a muggy day means humid air is getting past the gasket or a door that isn't quite closed. In a matched set, the wine column runs its own sealed system, separate from the refrigerator beside it.

Parts that tend to fail on Dacor wine coolers

  • Zone sensor failed
  • Circulating fan stopped
  • Condenser grille clogged
  • Leaky gasket fogging the glass
  • Control display frozen

FAQ

Dacor Wine Cooler Repair Questions

The questions that come up most often. Anything not covered here, ask us when you call, or add it to the booking form's notes field.

Have a different question?

Tell us what make it is and what's going wrong. A few things can be settled over the phone, and anything else gets looked at during the visit.

That zone's sensor and fan first, since the other zones prove the refrigeration system works. If both test fine, we look at the damper or airflow path to that zone and then the control.

Not usually. In a matched set, each column has its own compressor and controls. A problem in the wine column is diagnosed on its own, though we check that both units have the front clearance they need.
